The End.

Description

Level 19 is the deepest you can get within The Backrooms in terms of positive levels. It appears to be an infinite, modern library made up of wide corridors and open areas. The bookshelves are almost entirely devoid of any books, making the entire level feel isolated. barren and empty. Almost everything in the level is in pretty poor condition, with many of the furnishings being able to collapse under small pressure and the lights across the level sometimes flickering or shutting off entirely. Signs around the level saying "THE END" or "THE END is NEar" can be found and these are what give the level its name (and also being the deepest you can go.)

Vintage personal computers can be found on some counters throughout the level but when turned on don't really do much of any note. They have a start-up screen that doesn't seem to quite resemble any start-up screen in the real world at all. Upon accessing the computer there's seemingly nothing. But if one explores deeper into these computers an mp3 file with a corrupted name can be found lost within the computers files.

A fake reality.

Fake Realities

Now for probably the most interesting part of The End and what makes it so unique. Fake realities. These are shoddy interpretations of The Frontrooms. It has everything you'd usually find in The Frontrooms but it just has the classic Backrooms vibe that makes you feel like something is off or not quite right. This is likely caused due to the absence of any other people or earth-like creatures, (I won't deny the possibility that something may have followed you in though) and the "corruptions". These are things that are there but really shouldn't be there under any normal circumstances.

The fake realities are all subsections of Level 19 and are typically very close to each other. They usually resemble someplace familiar, a transitional space, or a space that you'd never have really paid attention to while in reality. These fake realities don't last for long though and will eventually just fade into another level of The Backrooms. How long they last for though is completely random.

Entrances

The best and most reliable way to enter The End is through the barnyard on Level 18.
However, doors that would typically indicate an exit in any positive level have a tiny, tiny chance of leading here.

Exits

There is no reliable way to exit Level 19 outside of the fake realities.
