Level 9 - "Nocturnal Suburbs" BETA

"It's dark and damp..."

Description

Level 9 is a typical American suburb that is shrouded in the darkness of night (midnight) permanently. The roads of Level 9 are damp and moist, leaving behind a faint squelch as you walk on the asphalt, sometimes leaves can be seen laying on the road too. The street lamps are typically always on, but sometimes they can occasionally flicker or turn off for a period of time. The power source for these lamps are unknown.

The houses of Level 9 are usually fully furnished and have quite a comfy atmosphere to them, and sometimes various items of interest can be found within them (things like Almond Water and the such.) Nothing electronic is actually inside the houses apart from a microwave, lights and a fridge but like the street lamps, there is no obvious power source to these either yet they remain completely functional. The actual layout of the houses is completely random, but unlike Level 16, what rooms the houses have is not random and will always contain a: bedroom, sitting room, kitchen and either a basement or attic.

The exterior appearance of the houses is different and unique to each house, but all have the same rough theming to them. The entire level is about 4 degrees celsius but the inside of the houses can be cozy sometimes.

You will eventually find a small park near one of the roads, which will then lead to a field. This leads to Level 10.
