Level 12 (The Poolrooms) is a vast series of interconnected rooms with white pool tiles as far as the eye can see, it's the ceiling, the walls, the floor, and most other wacky structures that can be found within the level. The level is slightly submerged in lukewarm water that provides a calming, soothing effect when walked in. This water, however, can have devastating effects on clothes that are not designed for the waves, as regular clothes will stiffen, stick and eventually burn away if exposed to this water for too long.

The Poolrooms are composed of two areas, light areas and dark areas. Dark areas are most common, they have next to no lighting and are generally a lot more dangerous than the light areas. The effects of the water are intensified here, making you more calm but the unfortunate side effects on the wrong equipment are also intensified. It's also of note that there's a smell of almonds in these areas too. This is because the water contains an astronomically small amount of cyanide, not enough to actually do anything to you, but anything to create the smell. Because of this, you probably shouldn't drink the water.

The light areas are slightly rarer but also a lot safer (these parts of The Poolrooms could actually be considered one of the safest places to be.) Lighting is present in these areas, it looks as if sunlight is shining right through the windows, which are actually present in the light areas but show nothing but a bright light. Absolutely no cyanide is present in the waters here and the water is actually a lot warmer (it's actually a comfy hot) but the actual effects of the water are a bit tamer. This doesn't mean you can't necessarily be calmer here, as you can be as calm, if not calmer in the light areas.

For an unknown reason, there is a minimal yet constant rippling within the waters of The Poolrooms, despite no wind or anything to disturb the water being present in the level. Interestingly, all sound on this level feels very damp and reverberated, presumably from the water but there's no concrete explanation. This could be calming for some.

In some rooms of The Poolrooms, various sets of lockers can be found. These are mostly empty but will sometimes contain poolwear that is resistant to the corroding effects of water on clothes. These would also be useful in Level 7.

Level 12 (The Poolrooms) is the sister level of Level 0 (The Backrooms) and Level 13 (The Woodrooms) due to all linking to each other strongly and sharing properties.

Entrances

When swimming in Level 7 there is a chance that when you emerge you will emerge in The Poolrooms.

A random pool that covers half of a room in Level 0 will always lead here.

Falling asleep in a spa room within Level 13 will cause you to awaken here.

Submerging in a hot tub of Level 16 has a rare chance to lead here.

The infinitely large pools of Level 5 contain entrances to here.

The Hub if you have it's key.

Exits

Some hallways will lead back to Level 0.

A wooden spa can occasionally be found. This leads to Level 13.

Sinking beneath the water fully can lead to Level 7 upon re-emerging.

Some hallways lead to level 11.5.
